What is the Express card?
The Express card allows you to send money overseas to a nominated family member or friend.
An Express card is an easy, cost-effective alternative to sending money in cash, using a telegraphic transfer, or a money transfer agency.
How does the Express card work?
When you get an Express card, you will be given two cards.  
The Express New Zealand card is for you
load money on to the card in branch or using an ATM, Phone Banking, Online Banking or as a bill payment.  
The Express International card is to be sent to the nominated person overseas
you deposit money in New Zealand and they can withdraw it from overseas ATMs or use the card anywhere that accepts Visa.  
Both cards will need a PIN
you will need to load a PIN on your card in a Westpac branch  
the International card PIN will be sent directly to the overseas address.
