Payments - Fees.

Direct debit authorities for Westpac Unit Trusts and Retirement Plans are free.

3 Sweepover has a $0 service fee for each sweep. 

   

EFTPOS & debit cards - Fees.

4 Fee exemptions
The annual fee is waived for:

  • Customers 19 years and over (fee waived for the first year)
  • Customers under 19 years
  • Customers on a Career Starter Pac, Tertiary Pac or Graduate Pac, for the life of the Pacs
  • SuperGold Card holders (fee waived for the first year). 

5 A foreign currency fee is charged when you make a purchase or cash withdrawal in a foreign currency, and also applies to any fees and charges charged by the overseas bank or vendor in relation to the transaction. This fee is also charged when you make online purchases in a foreign currency.

Dishonour/payment failed - Fees.

Business borrowing (including Trusts) - Fees.

A higher fee may apply if the application is accepted but does not meet the standard lending criteria. 

    

Lending - Service fees.

8 A prepayment cost may also apply as described in the loan agreement.

9 Additional disbursement charges may apply in some circumstances (includes discharge of securities, release of guarantees/life policies, priorities, variation memorandums that alter security arrangements through acting solicitor and collection of life policies under assignment) or where no solicitor is involved. Quotation is available on request. 

Cash handling/deposits - Fees.

Cash handling will be charged to Westpac customers when the amount of cash deposited or withdrawn to an account in any charge month¹⁰ is $75,000 or more at the following rates (the fee applies to the full amount deposited). Additional costs may apply for special requests such as large coin or cash deposits and withdrawals. Non-Westpac customers are able to make deposits on a limited exceptions basis only.

10 A charge month starts on the last day of the calendar month and finishes on the second to last day of the following month.

All fees will be charged to your nominated billing account. You can view a breakdown of your monthly charges by using the Business Online Bank 'reports' function (click on the 'Balances and Reporting' option on your main menu). Find more information on business account fees here.
