Topping up or redrawing on your home loan

If you want to renovate or expand your home, landscape your garden or upgrade your vehicle, topping up or redrawing on your home loan could be a simple way to help you do it.

Home loans are affordable borrowing

Your home loan is probably the most affordable borrowing you have, so if you’ve been thinking about starting that project - like a new bathroom, kitchen, or even a deck for summer, you can do it now. Or maybe you’d just like to take a holiday.

Whatever you need the money for, topping up your home loan could be the answer.

If you don’t have any available limit to redraw, or you are currently on a fixed rate, you can still apply to top up your home loan.

The money could be in your account in no time

It’s simple to apply to top up your home loan. It's usually a quick process, and once approved and the documentation is completed, we can have the funds you need in your account in no time.

Just contact us on 0800 177 277 or pop into your local branch.

You may have available funds

If you’ve been paying more than your minimum home loan repayments this could mean that you have some extra money available on your loan to use for some extra things you’ve been planning or saving for, right now.

There could be a project in and around your home, or even a new car, maybe you would just like to take a holiday - that’s fine too!

You can have a look at your loan balance and access available funds, yourself via Online Banking or phone banking by simply transferring between Accounts. Or if you prefer we can always do it for you.

It’s easy with a Choices Floating home loan or a Choices Everyday Floating Account

If you’ve been paying your home loan off faster than you need to, you may have built up a buffer between your loan balance and loan limit, you can easily check this via Online Banking, if you’re registered. If you have a Choices Floating home loan Account or Choices Everyday Floating you can simply withdraw funds up to your loan limit at any time yourself via Online Banking or get in touch with us to do it for you.

If you have a fixed rate home loan you can redraw funds when your fixed rate expires.
