You can apply to transfer balances from other bank's credit cards or personal loans, hire purchases and store cards. You cannot transfer a balance from a Westpac card or loan. You will need to keep making payments to all accounts from which your balance is being transferred until the balance transfer is complete and you have confirmation from Westpac that the accounts have been credited. You are responsible for all late payment charges and any other fees or charges related to your other account including any costs to close that account. Payments made to your Westpac credit card will be applied against balance transfer before cash advances and other purchases, but after charges and interest that have accrued. 1 You will be personally responsible for all credit extended by Westpac under a BusinessPLUS MasterCard, irrespective of whether a business name appears on the card.
2 Eligible purchases exclude cash advances, charges, interest, cash substitutes, business expenditure (excluding transactions made on a BusinessPLUS MasterCard), balance transfers, transactions on your nominated account(s) linked to your credit card, any transaction that is reversed, refunded or charged back.
