Reset your password

For users of the Westpac One Mobile Apps (iPhone, iPad and Android), reset password functionality is coming soon.  If you need to reset your password, please use the desktop version of mobile banking, or direct your mobile browser to https://bank.westpac.co.nz/one/app.html#login and select the ‘reset your password’ link.

  • Reset password computer 1
    From the login page select the ‘reset your password’ link.
  • Reset password computer 2
    Enter your Customer ID.
  • Reset password computer 3
    Complete your Online Guardian Challenge question.
  • Reset password computer 4
    Your temporary password will be texted to your mobile phone number registered in online banking.
  • Reset password computer 5
    Go back to the Westpac One login page, enter your Customer ID and the temporary password that was texted to your mobile.
  • Reset password computer 6
    Re-enter your temporary password and choose a new password.
  • Reset password computer 7
    You will be logged in and taken to the security screen to confirm your password update was successful.
